Our Journey

  /  Our Journey

Hello my name is Anita, I am the Founder and Business Owner of Idyllic Candles. I am a proud mother of two, a happy wife and I’m obsessed with all things simple and natural.

Idyllic Candles began in 2008 after the birth of our first child, my obsession of simplicity took me on a journey of candle making. This became my new hobby while enjoying our new baby girl. Surprisingly my candles were in high demand from family, friends and local markets. The following year my love of candle making quickly transpired into a business.

Over the years Idyllic Candles has evolved, although one thing remains the same… my devotion to provide our customers with the desire to evoke memories through scents and bestow a warm glow of an ambience that one could only hope lasts a lifetime.

Idyllic Candles are all hand poured by me in my quaint little candle studio in the regional city of Goulburn in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. Our beautiful town and all its charm has plenty of walking tracks with nature and beauty close by. My daily walks on those tracks is where I replenish, rejuvenate and draw inspiration from. The scent of the eucalypts, the gentle flow and tranquil setting of the river, the fresh and crisp clean air provides the concept and clarity of the characteristics Idyllic Candles and melts are known for.

As an Australian owned and operated manufacturing business we like to support Australian suppliers. All Idyllic Candles and Melts are crafted using the finest soy wax, infused with high quality fragrances and carefully selected pure cotton wicks. Our glass jars are chosen for their simple and timeless design to suit and blend with any décor or interior. Our blonde timber lids embrace our nature inspired choices to protect your candle from dust and alike. With all twenty four meticulously chosen fragrances on offer, our collection has a scent for all senses.
